Donating is one of the most direct ways to support the Priest Lake Food Bank. Your contributions make it possible for us to provide nutritious food, cover essential operating costs, and respond to the needs of our neighbors here in the Priest Lake area.
Before donating food, it’s helpful to check what items we currently need. While staples like canned goods and pasta are always appreciated, we are often especially in need of items such as rice, spices, and other dry goods that help families prepare wholesome meals. The best way to stay updated on specific needs is to contact us — we’re always glad to talk about what’s most useful.
Monetary donations are also incredibly valuable. Financial gifts allow us to purchase food that hasn’t been donated, fill gaps in supply, and help cover other essential expenses like utilities, truck and trailer operating costs, and building needs. You can make a tax-deductible gift using the Donate button on our website via PayPal or credit card.

If you prefer to donate food items in person, you can bring donations during our open hours — the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month, noon to 3 p.m. — or arrange to drop off food through local partners, including Ardy’s in Coolin, which periodically accepts donations on our behalf.
Volunteer
Volunteering at the Priest Lake Food Bank is a meaningful way to support your community. Volunteers help organize and sort food, assist during distribution days, help with transportation, and support special projects. Whether you can spare a couple of hours or have specialized skills — like bookkeeping, driving, or clerical work — your time helps keep the food bank running smoothly.
Encourage Others
Supporting the Priest Lake Food Bank becomes even more impactful when you invite others to join you. Bring friends or family with you to volunteer, host a food donation drive, or simply spread the word about how easy it can be to make a difference.
Getting more people involved not only increases the support we can offer but also strengthens community spirit — something Priest Lake has in abundance.
