An empty lot is where the photographs begin, but it is not where the story began.

Long before the building took shape, volunteers were working behind the scenes to secure funding, coordinate resources, gather supplies, and turn a shared vision into something real. Community members stepped forward with their time, skills, generosity, and support.

Little by little, that effort became visible. A foundation was laid. Walls went up. Equipment arrived. Freezers and shelves made room for food.

Today, the new Priest Lake Food Bank stands as a testament to what a community can accomplish when people work together toward a common purpose.

The entire organization is deeply grateful to the volunteers, donors, and community members who helped secure this new space and bring the project to this important milestone.

But this is only Phase One.

In the new year, Phase Two will begin, with more work ahead to build out logistics, strengthen day-to-day operations, and secure the additional funding needed to continue developing the food bank.

The building is an important achievement. The people who made it possible are the heart of the story. And together, the community is helping build something that can continue serving its neighbors into the future.

1. It Started With a Vision

Before there was a building, there was a need, a vision, and a group of people willing to work toward something better for their community.

2. The Work You Don't Always See

Securing funding, finding supplies, coordinating resources, and organizing the effort took time and determination. Much of this work happened behind the scenes, but every part helped make the project possible.

3. A Community Builds Together

With donated time, materials, skills, and support, the vision began to take physical shape. Every milestone brought the food bank closer to a home of its own.

4. A Place Ready to Serve

Freezers, shelving, and food transformed the building into a working space. This was a major milestone, made possible by the combined efforts of people who believed in the mission.

5. Phase One Complete. The Work Continues.

The new space is secured, and Phase One marks a major step forward. In the new year, Phase Two will focus on further developing logistics and operations and securing additional funding.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped bring us this far.
