Thank you for sharing your Church space for the use of the Priest Lake Food Bank. Your generosity over the many years has allowed us to reach out and help those in need.

Your Church started sharing food about 25 years ago. Lee Mehs, who started the Food Bank in the Church, turned over the Food Bank to a number of volunteers and eventually became the responsibility of our current group. We have been carrying out our part as best we can.

When it was time to share our working space with the Thrift Shoppe it became more difficult because of the limited space and this became a major challenge. We would have to move our stuff out of the way so the Thrift Shoppe could set up and vice versa.

Our answer to this was to find another space with more room that was solely the property of the Food Bank. With the help of many generous people and strategic planning we were able to buy our own property and start building on Phase 1 of that project. We hope this move will help both the Food Bank and the Thrift Shoppe to accomplish our missions.

Again, we thank the members of the Lamb of God Church so much for their open arms for the past 20 plus years that allowed the Priest Lake Food Bank to operate and serve our community.
